We make these tarps right here in the Pacific Northwest. We know about harsh Winter conditions. Many of these tarps are also used widely in the marine industry for a variety of purposes. Build to stand abuse, neglect or whatever you can throw at them our tarps will last and last. *18oz. refers to the weight of the vinyl fabric per square yard. The finished size on our tarps is the stated size. We don't sell "cut size" tarps. The tarp you receive may even be a 1/2" or so larger than the stated size.
