It works on stiles up to 1-1/4 in. thick and has a clamp capacity of 4 in. The design of this clamp allows you to tighten, align, pre-drill and fasten the cabinet stile, all while the clamp is in place. The clamp holds the individual cabinet edges together while keeping the faces along the joint flush. Drill your pilot hole using the integrated pilot-hole drilling guide located on the clamp side. Then simply flip the guide out of the way to drive your screws in to connect the cabinet frames. There is no need to remove or reposition the clamp!
