Most late model vehicles have the parking brake mechanism built into the rear brake calipers. Unlike traditional caliper pistons that can be pressed directly back into the caliper, these pistons need to be rotated and pressed back at the same time. While we've seen other methods of retracting brake pistons that involve screwdrivers and pliers, those are NOT the right tools for the job. Our brake wind back tool set will get the job done faster, with less effort, and significantly reduce the chances of damaging the pistons, seals, and dust boots.
Application Information
