Description

My name is Chris, I am a grateful alcoholic in recovery.

I went to rehab in March, 2010, anxious of what sober living would look like to me. I felt a lot in rehab. My brain was clearing up and I was realizing it's full potential without drugs and alcohol. I was starving for good, clean fun and wisdom.

I played a lot of card games and heard a lot about sober life while I was in treatment. I was also introduced to the sobriety quotes: 'Idle hands are the devil's playground' is the one that my counselor kept telling me. I used to think about that particular one a lot. What did that really look like and how was I going to keep busy when I left this place?

With a newfound respect for sobriety, I wanted more AA slogans. I started attending Alcoholic Anonymous meetings and other 12-step meetings; they were hanging all over the rooms. I loved applying these affirmation slogans to this daily emotional roller coaster I was on. They were helping me get through my days, sober recovery! I was taking it 'one day at a time' and they were becoming my go-to sober tool.

So here we are 8 years later, and I have not had a drink or a drug since I stepped into rehab. I thank God every day for giving me a new life. These sober gifts are inspired by my experience from treatment. They are a collection of my favorite inspirational sobriety quotes and they still keep me sober today. I am grateful for them and for my life in sobriety!

Sober Cards make for great sobriety gifts for men and sobriety gifts for women. They are great sponsor/sponsee gifts, sobriety anniversary gifts. You can lead 12-step, AA meetings and NA meetings with them.

If you are looking for 1 year sobriety gifts, been sober af for one day or fifty years, Sober Cards are for you. If you are looking for recovery games and recovery cards, these are for you. ;

Thanks for letting me share my story and thanks for spreading the word of recovery through Sober Cards.

Conclusion

By our suggestions above, we hope that you can found the best recovery games for you. Please don't forget to share your experience by comment in this post. Thank you!
